You can call it Kangaroo Court, Khap Panchayat or anything else … But how justified are they? And who give them the right in a democratic country like India which got it’s legal system in place.
There are a lot of hue and cry about our legal system, it’s procedure of giving justice ec certea. We are still in the era of “Tarikh pe tarikh pe tarikh”.
But does it give anyone or anybody the right to do inhuman activities in other human.
Yeah,it happened again in Kaliapalli village under Badagada police limits of Ganjam district, Odisha. Another instance where a woman’s respect is being tarnished, another instance where love is not given it’s due respect, another instance where we lost humanity .The two were paraded wearing slippers by the villagers as per punishment pronounced by Kangaroo court and that too on International Women’s day ,8th of March ‘2021 where we generally send big quotes on women empowerment, celebrate with flowers and cakes and felicitate women on big platforms and stages and compare them with Shakti, Durga, Saraswati blah blah.
- Why a woman can’t love a man without seeking permission from the society?
- Why the divinity of a relationship is always being questioned?
- Why we can’t see life beyond marriage no matter how awful it is ?
Why everyone is so silent? Does it because it’s not happening with you or because you lack the spine to question the patriarchy?
Now SHE is missing, another woman is missing…
Another Durga, Sati is missing or another whore is missing…
CHOICE IS YOURS !!!
Because you are the society …
